Born in Los Angeles, California on June 4, 1975, Angelina Jolie has become more than an icon. The “Queen of All Media” tops 2009’s “Celebrity Top 100″ list published by Forbes Magazine every year.
Today, Jolie is one of the best known celebrities around the world. Starting in 2005, her relationship with Brad Pitt became one of the most reported celebrity stories worldwide. After Jolie confirmed her pregnancy in early 2006, the unprecedented media hype surrounding them “reached the point of insanity” as Reuters described it in their story “The Brangelina fever”. Trying to avoid the media attention, the couple went to Namibia for the birth of Shiloh, “the most anticipated baby since Jesus Christ”, as it had been described. Two years later, Jolie’s second pregnancy again fueled a media frenzy. For the two weeks she spent in a seaside hospital in Nice, reporters and photographers camped outside on the promenade to report on the birth.
There have been recent rumors of a break up between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, but the couple has consistently denied those rumors.

Why You Would Use a Midwife for Delivery

Pregnancy and delivery; a source of joy and pain for the woman.Obviously there is joy because of the newborn baby, but any woman will tell you, it was a source of unspeakable pain.
Well it is because of that pain that there are two schools of thought on how pregnancy and delivery should be carried about. I am going to offer some perspective on one particular school of thought that I have gained first hand experience with by being a homebirth midwife San Diego.
There is the medical model for delivering babies which is tied in with using drugs to kill the pain, and sometimes c -sections to finish the delivery.
While there is a lesser known model, not as widely accepted, for those that have experienced it and believe in it, they consider it a safer alternative for the woman.
That model is called the midwifery model. That model is in stark contrast with the medical model.Where you have the medical model which depends a lot on medicine, midwifery prefers to rely on the natural. Midwifery believes that pregnancy and delivery is a natural process and thus should be allowed to happen naturally.
This model is carried out by a profession called midwives. Midwives San Diego are generally woman, who attend the birth, often times at the mother’s home.This midwife would help the woman try to deliver the baby as naturally as possible without the use of drugs.
Against most popular beliefs, not using medicine during labor actually allows the labor to happen quite a bit faster because drugs usually slow down the labor.
The midwife is a professional with a regulatory board that certifies and licenses the individual.
Although often not a doctor or nurse, some midwives can be nurses.
Even though they are not a doctor or nurse, they do carry with them some medical equipment, such as resuscitation devices and suturing equipment.
So in regards to pregnancy and delivery this is what a midwife is and generally what midwifery is about.
Their goals are to let the labor and delivery happen as naturally possible.This makes the likelihood of a c-section less likely.Does not subject you to hospital procedures that are invasive such as episiotomys.There will be less use of managing it with medical techniques such as breaking the water or using any types of drugs for the pregnancy.And for the woman the best part of all is that labor and delivery usually happen quicker naturally.

Because a problem in a marriage, left unchecked, could one day lead to a horrible divorce.
So for couples seeking to keep their marriage, here are some key signs to look for and decide if marriage counseling San Diego is needed.
The first sign is there constant bickering?Do insignificant things cause arguments? Although seemingly insignificant, this could be the start of something that turns bigger.
Second, do you guys find it hard to say anything nice about each other? This shows you that you two are holding contempt for each other and that is not beneficial.
A third thing is do you find that your level of respect for each other is not there?In every relationship, the couple must respect each other.
